Children's Cancer Fund hosted its 20th Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. in the Landmark Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Honorary chairmen Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach joined an impressive lineup of corporate sponsors, celebrity escorts and local media, to present 41 children who are undergoing treatment for cancer at Children's Medical Center Dallas and 81 pediatric cancer survivors in a spectacular runway show. Featured celebrities included Willa Ford Madano, The Toothfairy, Dallas Ice Girls, Gary Gatlin of the Gatlin Brothers, Dallas Cowboys Brady James, Former Dallas Cowboys Daryl Johnston and Drew Pearson and many many more. Tears were shed and hearts grew and grew as our brave children took the stage.
2008 Luncheon Calendars/Planners are now available for purchase. Planners are $15 each and are dated from March 2008 through March 2009. Please call the CCF office at 214.442.1691 to order before March 28th.
All proceeds from this wonderful event go to advance research and treatment
programs in pediatric oncology at Children's Medical Center and UT
Southwestern Medical Center, benefiting children worldwide.
