The Children's Cancer Fund celebrated The Great Pumpkin Race on November 15, 2008 at White Rock Lake. Over 200 runners joined us for this exciting event. Participants were treated to hot coffee from Starbucks, breakfast from Sams Club and Otis Spunkmeyer, and a little boost of energy from Custom Muscle. After their race, guest recieved massages and haircuts for those that wanted to donate their hair to make wigs for childhood cancer patients.
The 15K Training Run was exciting with Alan Bogard coming in 1st in the men's division and Jackie Haas coming in 1st in the women's division. Click on complete results below.
